Accounting Tricks

I recently read an article in the NY Times (relax, it was linked to me via another site) that spelled out some of the tricks that states are now using to balance their budgets. This is a maneuver that relates to the pension plans. What these states are doing is cutting the future benefits to new employees. While this is a wonderful concept which will net savings in the long run, we are seeing the political hacks manipulate this for present gain. A slight of hand accounting trick is enabling these corrupt public servants to take the future savings in the present budget years, in turn, balancing the budgets.

Once again we see the political class rear their corrupt heads. The problem with his deal is the simple fact that most of these pension funds are underfunded as we speak. In layman's terms, the simply do not have enough money. Of course, the states are in a quandary since cutting any present pension payments results in union lawsuits. Therefore, they need to suck savings wherever else they can. Yet this maneuver allows them to bypass the step of having to cut the present budget. Once again, votes are more important.

We need to step in and straighten out all politicians. The 'kicking the can down the road' should no longer be tolerated. Anyone who sits back and watches this occur is a felon. These people are screwing the present and future generations. This hack in the White House is so bad he belongs tied to a pole and facing a firing squad. Madoff is a said compared to these people. The same holds true for the members of both houses of Congress. There is a body where 535 of individuals should be tried for treason. (For those of you who dont understand that number, that encompasses members of both parties)

The politicians will use any trick to fool the public. Only in government can people argue of the size of the deficit and feel that less bad is good. At the same time, these people are immune from any negative consequences. We need to change that. If jailtime is not in the books for these corrupt people, then we need to look at alternative measures. The revolution is quickly approaching.

Governments Are Going Broke

The news of California's economic demise is well documented. Now, we are seeing that many other governmental agencies are facing similar circumstances. The days of reckless overspending are coming back to haunt these local and state governments. And, it serves them right.

Today, the mayor of New York announced that the city needed to undergo massive layoffs to prevent going bankrupt. Of course, it should come as no surprise that unions are at the center of the issue. New York will have to lay off as many as 7,000 employees unless concessions in benefits are made. This is according to an article run here.

How is this any different then the situation confronting General Motors? Management made poor decisions for decades spending on ideas that missed what the market needed while the unions presses (and received) wonderful contracts which destroyed the company. We see a similar story being run in government. Reckless politicians spent money without regard of how it would be paid back while conceding to the unions. Now, GM and many governments are facing bankruptcy.

Personally, I am glad to see so much trouble across the country. Government is addicted to tax revenue. Politicians spend without regard to the consequences of what they do. Campaigns are full of promises of "handouts" without any thought to the future. Today, the future is here.

Of course, areas like New York and California are going to solve this problem by raising taxes. We already saw some of the proposals the Governor of New York offered. If it moves, he wants to tax it. Typical government mindset. They screw the budget up and feel entitled to have the people give more. This is absolute bull crap. The time is near that the politicians are held accountable for their choices. Perhaps we could have them personally guarantee all their decisions. You put the government in debt, we, the people are entitled to all your money. That is a tidy sum with some of these politicians.

I am predicting there will be a tax revolt in the next few years. The way these idiots in government are spending money, those who are in a position of high net worth will not like giving more to the corrupt politicians. If the top 3% decided to withhold their tax payments, we would see the government stopped on a dime. This is what America needs. Let the politicians figure out how to keep their campaign promises without any tax dollars. If they want it, let them fund it.

The revolution is nearing. We are seeing the signs of it all over the country. People are angry. These politicians think it is business as usual. They better wake up soon.

Oops: Sorry About That Camapign Pledge

The United States is quickly learning what a liar Barack Hussein Obama really is. If there is anyone who still believes a word that comes out of this man's mouth, you are a total idiot. Ron White likes to say "you cant fix stupid". Well, that certainly is true and sadly, 50% of the United States is totally ignorant.

Here is Obama list of credentials as a professional liar. First, he is a politician. Therefore, the truth is not in the equation. Secondly, he is from the Chicago political scene; the most corrupt in the country. Finally, he is already going back on everything he said.

Remember all that campaign bull crap about only raising taxes on people making over $250,000 a year. Well, yesterday saw that myth dispelled. Obama hit his first target with a tax increase and as you will see, it affects the poor more then the wealthy.

According to this AP article, a new cigarette tax took place yesterday. It raises the tax on a pack of cigarettes 62 cents. This is up from the 39 cents previously charged. Thus, a carton of cigarettes just went up by $6.20. But feel comfort in knowing this went to pay for Obama health initiatives.

While I am no defender of smokers, this tax hits home with those Obama professes to protect. As the article shows, the lower income brackets have a higher percentage of smokers. It starts at 34% for those earning less than $12,000 per year. Now, do you think these people can realistically afford as well as those making greater than $100,000? Of course not. Yet, Obama promised no tax increases on these people.

Of course, this is the first of many to come. Pay attention to that cap and trade crap that Obama is professing we need to prevent man-made global warming. This will raise utility bills by 6% while increasing a gallon of gas by 13 cents. Again, who do you think these taxes hurt the most. Naturally the lower income brackets suffer the greatest brunt of it. They are already spending 100% of what they earn.

Obama is quickly showing himself to be the grand liar. Nothing out of his mouth can be believed. Trust me, the cigarette tax is not the last campaign promise he will break. In the end, he will screw the same people he vowed to help. Typical politician.

AIG Bonuses

The Imperial Federal government decided that the people who received bonuses at AIG ought to be taxed at a 90% tax rate. This is nothing more than an outrage. These people did nothing illegal yet are being investigated by the Congress like they were Al Capone. It is truly awful that we have come to this.

Here is the simple fact. A bunch of moronic politicians who are as corrupt as they are stupid are imposing their will. Of course, they are claiming this is to protect the taxpayers money. Why now? They did not seem to care when they were spending $30 million on the study of rats in San Francisco (or whatever they wasted money on).

So, Congress feels that the law abiding citizens who received bonuses from AIG ought to give the money back. It is outrageous that people take money from a company when it is going under. If that is the criteria, maybe Congress should give the money back also. After all, it is taxpayer money.

Here is a list of the top 12 people in Congress who received money from AIG in 2008.

1. Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., $103,100
2. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., $101,332
3. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., $59,499
4. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., $35,965
5. Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., $24,750
6. Former Gov. Mitt Romney, (R) Pres $20,850
7. Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., $19,975
8. Rep. John Larson, D-Conn, $19,750
9. Sen. John Sununu, R-N.H., $18,500
10. Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani (R) Pres $13,200
11. Rep. Paul Kanjorski, D-Pa., $12,000
12. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., $11,000

I am sure you will recognize some of the names on there. Funny, now they are the ones most outraged by the bonuses. Hypocritical?

The Hoopla over AIG

These days, we do not have to look too far to see hypocrisy. It is plastered all over the news. Each time we see a member of Congress open his or her mouth, it is being thrust upon us like a dagger. I am witnessing a lot of "do as I say while ignoring what I do".

Everyone seems outraged over the bonuses that AIG paid after receiving billions from the government. Now, the politicians are grandstanding about how taxpayer money is being wasted. Hello. Didn't we just have Congress pass and the President sign a bill which had over 8,000 pieces of pork in it? These people are as hypocritical as they come.

The fact is that AIG is contractually obligated to pay these people. That is a fundamental tenet of the private sector; the contract. When two parties agree to something in writing, that is known as a legally binding document. Now, the Feds, in their infinite wisdom want to take the money back. Once again, the corrupt are exercising their abuse of power.

We have Barney Frank blowing (pun intended) hot air about all the money going to these corrupt executives. How about we look into Frank blocking reforms into Freddie and Frannie long before they went broke? Then we have Christopher Dodd double talking out his mouth. Of course, he is the one who gets favorable rates without his knowledge. Yeah, right. And lets us not forget Timothy Geitner, the man who couldnt figure out his own taxes. Now, he is up in arms over AIG's behavior.

This is what happens when government gets involved; everything gets screwed up. The fact that 535 politicians who seem to major in stupidity, corruption, and lying are meddling tells us how dire the situation has become. Government is an entity that will fail each time. Presently, we are moving in the direction where we need to overthrow it. Those who are in power are out of control. The time is nearing.

Do As I Say...

The tax cheats that Obama tried to put into Cabinet positions are only the tip of the iceberg. It seems that there are many in political power who feel that paying taxes is beneath them. This is the group that is responsible for spending the taxpayer dollars. They will raise taxes whenever they see an opportunity yet feel the need to disregard the rules themselves.

Here is an article that outlines some of what is occurring in the Georgia legislature.

It seems the representatives in the state Congress feel exempt from paying (and even filing returns) taxes. Here is a clear situation where these people ought to be immediately removed from office and sent to jail for a year. They take an oath to uphold the laws of the Land (state, federal, etc...). To me, this is the breaking of sworn testimony. Perjury charges ought to be levied with an automatic 1 year imprisonment if convicted. Perhaps this will start to alter the actions of the powerful.

How Much Is It All Really

Politicians mention billions of dollars like it is water. However, have you ever thought of how much a billion really is. I came across a wonderful site which gives examples of how much it is really.

My next question is: how much is a trillion, as in $3.5 trillion?

Fantasy Land

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it does. We all know that Obama and his liberal cronies in Congress are on board with the global warming myth as a means of income redistribution. That is no secret. Thus we are seeing many things in the budget which move us to tighter, business unfriendly policies.

Yet, now we find out that a squirrel could be the undoing of our entire energy policy. Now lets be serious folks. This animal is like a hamster (which to many is a rat). Nevertheless, environmental morons want to protect the pike.

Here is the article.

The point that I want to stress is that many are using the global warming argument as a means to project the demise of this creature. Well, this is a myth of the grandest proportions. The planet, in spite of what Al Gore and his loony friends say, is not getting warming. In fact, over the last decade, the temperature leveled out before dropping the last couple of years. (Read article here).

This is total hypocrisy. These people are seeking to destroy business, thus the economy and American way of life, over a total myth. Al Gore says there is consensus. He is a liar. There is no consensus among scientists. In fact, the argument is swaying in the other direction when real scientists, not ones who get their research dollars from the government, are considered. Global warming is a lie. Everything this movement says is false.

The polar bears are not going extinct; their population has never been greater. Artic Ice is expanding especially when true reading are used (not omitting a mass the size of California. Sunspots are at a 50 years low. And the PDO switched to a cooling phase. All this leads to a downturn in worldwide global temperatures.

The political leadership in this country is in fantasy land. Well, maybe they know what is going on and the American people are asleep. Either way, they are selling and we are buying a bunch of bull crap.

These are our servants

We send our leaders to Washington to do our work. These are our elected officials. Yet, they repeatedly want to keep us in the dark about things. The events of the last 24 hours is no exception.

The United States Congress is embarking on the largest spending package in the history of this fine country. President Obama's "stimulus" bill is totaling almost $800 billion while taking up 1,100 pages. The negotiations between the House and Senate ended late last night.

Now, the House already passed the bill. As I write these words, the Senate is taking this bill to vote with passage expected. The historic event is going to occur within the next few hours.

Here is the million dollar question: Who can read 1,100 pages in 18 hours? How many of the Congress people and Senators read the contents of which they are voting? The answer seems to be none.

Here is a video of one Congressman protesting this very point.

How can these people vote for a bill without knowing the content? Simply, because they are corrupt politicians only concerned about their pet projects. Arlen Spector got his $6+ billion from the bill in exchange for his vote. According to reports, Nancy Pelosi got her $30 million for research of mice. And the list continues.

This is just another example of the corruption of the present political system. We are witnessing the largest increase in government spending for nothing. Under the guise of stimulus, the American people were duped into agreeing to political paybacks. This is corruption at it's finest.

We need to write down the name of every person who voted for this bill and remove them from office. The 2010 elections ought to see the removal of every single Democratic House member. This is what that criminals deserve.

Politics As Usual

Obama claimed to bring "change you can believe in". That was a welcomed relief to those of us who are tired of a corrupt, inefficient government that we suffered through the last few decades (at a minimum). However, it turns out that he was lying when he said that. His actions denote that it is politics as usual.

First, we suffered through the stimulus debacle which turned into a major spending spree by one political party. Of course, those in charged accused Republicans of playing politics. Get real on this one. The Republicans barely have enough power to change the toilet paper in the men's room at this point. They are so disorganized that the Democrats ought to easily be able to get a few of them to convert on most any bill. Yet, the politically biased bill that Pelosi put forth couldn't do that. She showed her disinterest in leading and only cares about appeasing the lobbyists.

Now, we have the Obama administration trying to hijack control of the census. This is change since it something that never occurred. In the past, the census was under the jurisdiction of the Commerce Department. If Obama has his way, it will be controlled by Rahm Emanuel (read story here). It seems we cannot even believe in a fair census with the present corruption in Washington.

We are rapidly seeing our liberties stripped away from us. The Bush administration used 9/11 into scaring us into approving his corrupt policies. Obama is using the economic crisis in the same way. In the end, we the people are the ones who are screwed. Every action in this manner brings us to a time when there will be a backlash. The Revolution is coming. Be prepared.

Trusting The Government

The nation is moving towards a time when the majority of people are dependent upon the government for at least part of their income. This will come in the form of social security, unemployment, welfare, or other devious cons the leadership sells us that makes us believe it is for our own good. Each time Congress approves a new spending program, the number of dependents increases.

Bernie Madoff made headlines by running one of the largest Ponzi schemes in history. His scam caused the loss of billions of dollars while harming thousands of people. He is a crook that deserves to be punished severely. Life in prison is too good for him in my opinion.

That being said, let me ask you: would you trust Madoff with your money at this point? In other words, would you turn your life savings over to him? No. Why not? Obviously because his record is for letting people down and not delivering what he promises. Also, Madoff showed himself only to be concerned about himself as opposed to looking out for the best interest of his clients. Only a fool would support Madoff at this point.

Yet, we see fools everyday supporting the government. They defend the policies that are proven to deliver nothing of what is promised. Every couple of years, the people send back the same morons to screw them further. The track record of the government is awful. It is the greatest liar, cheat, and scammer in the last couple hundred years.

You think I am kidding. Look at Social Security. That is the classic definition of a Ponzi scheme, taking in new money to pay the initial investors. Guess what? Social Security is broke because the undisciplined, corrupt, and greedy politicians could not keep their hands off it. Can you imagine if the head of a charter school diverted grant money intended for one purpose to another area? That school would be shut down in a matter of days.

Speaking of education, we entrusted the government to teach our children. What a fine job they are doing there. American consistently is falling further behind in areas of math and science. Fields like engineering, medical, and research are seeing an influx of foreigners because we have nobody to fulfill these positions.

Reading a bit of history will awaken you to the lies and deception the government traditionally is involved in. Do you remember the "concentration" policy? This was where the tribes of the Plains Indians agreed to occupy a certain territory in exchange of annual payments and cash gifts. The intent was to cut down on inter tribal warfare. Of course, this plan worked until the government realized it wanted more of the Indian's land. When they resisted, it was determined that they would be "housed" on two reservations. This was just another in a series of treaties the United States government broke with the Indians.

So, do you really believe that the government will protect your Social Security? It is already broke, what makes you think they will reverse this trend? By spending more money? How is that ever going to get one out of debt? The truth of the matter is that the government is only going to screw those people who put their faith in it. And those who defend this corruption deserve to suffer greatly. You have been warned.

Tax Mistake

When is not paying your taxes a "mistake"? It is that when you are the incoming President's choice to head the Treasury. And, yes, the corruption continues. We are rapidly moving towards the absurd.

Joe Biden considers paying taxes to be patriotic. If that is the case, then the head of the Treasury should not be someone who lacks patriotism. This is an organization that oversees all financial policy for the United States. Yet, we now have a nominee who "forgot" to pay. This seems a bit corny to me.

Of course, we now have Obama showing what type of corrupt person he is. Do you think Obama stood up after the facts were revealed and said "My bad. He doesn't deserve it". Certainly not. Instead he pushed Congress to confirm Geithner in spite of his "innocent mistake". (read here) What the hell. Will I be granted the save tolerance if I "make a mistake" and forget to pay my taxes. Not likely.

This shows how the Obama administration is nothing more than the same corruption we saw the last few decades. The powerful are screwing the American people while doing whatever they want. These public servants are corrupt and most of them belong. If you are not capable of paying your taxes then you certainly have no business running for Treasury. And, if you nominate someone who is unqualified, you have a responsibility to withdraw that person. Yet, Obama is going to follow the same corrupt standards.

So much for change.

Another Corrupt Mayor

You have to love the balls on this guy. Like this article says, if times were better, it would be funny.

So the mayor of Indiana decided that he needed to ride around in a Hummer when the City of Gary is $34 million in the hole. This is the mentality of those who are in power. It is total corruption. Then, when you account for his reasoning (he saved $5,000), it makes you wonder if this guy is fit to be in office. To me, this should be treated as a crime and this low life ought to be tossed in jail.

We are now seeing this all across the country. Political corruption is nothing new. Neither is the concept that politicians act like the taxpayer money is their own. However, with times getting more difficult, and local municipalities running in the red, incidents such as these are more appalling.

Last week I wrote about the mayor of Baltimore and her alleged corruption. (Read article here) Everywhere we turn, we are seeing the same thing. The taxpayer are being screwed. Either there is outright fraud or total incompetence, both resulting in the loss for the taxpayer. Chalk this one up as another step moving us towards the revolution.

By the way, did you notice how one of the banks that was involved in the bailout, Citigroup, is in more trouble. Perhaps throwing money at a problem without changing the fundamentals of that business is not the best approach.

Legal Corruption

Can anyone explain to me why Bernard Madoff is not in jail? Instead, he is living in his penthouse apartment while awaiting trial for the bilking of billions of dollars from investors. In what is the largest Ponzi scheme in U.S. history (next to the Social Security scam), Madoff is personally responsible for the ripping off of almost $50 billion. And, as I write this he is a free man.

To make matters worse, he is mailing millions of dollars worth of jewelry to friends and family. This is in direct opposition to a court order forbidding him from unloading his assets. Today, a judged allowed him to remain free. Instead, he requested an accounting of all his assets and assigned a security detail to periodically check that the objects are in Madoff's possession. (Read article here) This is absurd.

Let me ask you this: do you think that you or I would receive the same treatment. Of course not. In fact, you look at other high profile criminals to see they werent treated the same way. OJ Simpson sat in jail for over a year until he was let off the hook. Fortunately for society in general, karma came back to roost with him. The fact that Madoff is being accused of a "white collar" crime should matter little. He is a corrupt man who destroyed a lot of people.

I have no idea what the track record of Judge Ronald Ellis is. He may be a terrific judge. However, I question his decision on this one. Bernard Madoff harmed a lot of families while casting emotions which thus far is tied to 2 deaths. While he might not have pulled the trigger, he is responsible. And for that, he deserves to await trial from within the confines of a cell.

Baltimore Corruption

There is another dirty scoundrel in our presence. The events of the now fabled governor of Illinois resulted in his impeachment today. However, that is not the only filthy trash to emerge. We now have the honorable mayor of Baltimore indicted on 12 counts. Wow, they nailed her on a whole bunch of stuff. (read story here).

Sheila Dixon is now charged with using her position to award favorable contracts to friends and family. Well, if that does not beat all. This is something out of the Huey Long days. I wonder if she was handed money in a plain white envelop in a supermarket parking lot.

This is just another piece of evidence which shows that our leaders cannot be trusted. They are inherently corrupt. If they get into office with a shred of decency, they quickly lose it. Power goes to people's head and we are far too tolerant of this behavior. It is time that action is taken.

What can be done to prevent this? I think the answer is rather simple. People in public office need to be held to a higher accord. If you abuse your position and betray the trust of the people, we are going to abuse you. The answer is to levy sentences so severe it will deter anyone from breaking the law.

How would this work? For Ms. Dixon, a jail sentence of 20-30 years is appropriate. The same goes for that piece of trash governor in Illinois. He deserves to get a life sentence. Make these people pay for their actions. Of course, if we want to get Biblical about things, we could reinstate crucifixion as a penalty. Either way, we need to diminish the likelihood that these rats will keep screwing us over.

At present, Ms. Dixon is denying the allegations. Her people say it is an overzealous job on the prosecutor's part. I remember hearing the Mafia saying the same thing about Rudy Giuliani when he was investigating them. Remember folks, where there is smoke, there is fire. This is not a case of overzealous actions Ms. Dixon. Rather, it is a case that a corrupt rat was placed in a position of power. For that, you ought to be crucified.

Obama Came From This Environment

Chicago cannot get out of the news. Everyday there is something else coming out of the Windy City shows the corruption. As if the Senate seat fiasco was not enough, it now is shown that the school system spent $67,000 on cappuchino machines. So much for educators always screaming for more books and chalk. It appears that coffee is a requirement for teaching our children. (read article here)

What is most absurd about this is that the machines were never used. The money spent on them went totally to waste. Someone evidently cut a sweetheart deal somewhere along the line. I would surmise there was some form of kickback to the decision maker from the salesperson or company that got the contract. I mean, when you compare this to the "selling" a Senate seat, a small kickback would not raise an eyebrow.

The point is that the present President-elect is from this corrupt environment. To believe that he somehow managed to navigate his way through this mess while maintaining his integrity is a bit hard to swallow. This idea is compounded when you consider that Obama not only navigated but, also, excelled in this environment. He knows where "all the dead bodies are".

It is scary to consider that he now has access to trillions of dollars. We all know that Chicago has the reputation of corruption only matched by Louisiana. And, Obama has a number of Chicago personnel in his administration (can anyone say Rohm Emanual). It is my guess that we will not have to wait to long to see how corrupt this administration is. These yoyos will make the Bush administration look transparent.

Remember the time is nearing when this all will come to a head. Get prepared.

Bailouts: It Keeps Getting Better

The Treasury with Paulson at the helm is at it again. It was bad enough that the Socialist-in-Charge Bush gave billions to the automobile industry out of the $700 billion initially slated for the financial industry. Now, according to a report on Bloomberg, the Treasury can "provide funds to any company they deem important to making or financing cars".

Whoa. Hold on here gunslinger. Did I read that properly? Of course I did. This is "Bailout U.S.A." headed by those who want to be Santa Claus. We are now at the point where I think Starbucks is going to be able to make a point of being bailed out. After all, cars cannot be made, shipped, or sold unless there is plenty off coffee available. Without coffee, the entire industry will collapse, taking the economy along with it.

For weeks pundits were asking "where does this all end?". I am at the same point. Is it too early for us to proclaim the capitalistic system dead? Nowhere in my study of capitalism did I ever encounter the principle where the government decides who survives and who fails. Perhaps I was absent that day in school.

If you are getting tired of my sarcasm here, good!!! This gives you an inkling of the anger and frustration that I feel each time I read this garbage that the government is doing. Do they morons realize this is our money they are playing with? The US taxpayer is on the hook for every dime that is spent. While the executives of companies are having their parties or the Union is supporting their golf course, we are stuck paying a huge bill to fund this insanity. Again, where will it all stop.

The initial $700 billion was sold to Congress as a way to save the nation's financial system. Now, the money is going elsewhere. A few weeks back I wrote that Paulson should be tried and hung on the White House lawn. Since that time, the list expanded. Bush needs to go up there with him since he deems the US Treasury his own piggy bank. All the members of Congress who voted for this bailout are at fault since they put no stipulations in there to protect the taxpayer. This includes John McCain and the Socialist-Elect Barack Obama. String them up also. Every single one of these people are failing at their task to be good stewards of the American people's money. It is time we start to get serious with the corruption.

Benedict Arnold is known through history for being a traitor to the United States. Sadly, what he did pales in comparison to the damage the above mentioned "leaders" are presently doing. It is to the point where "treason" is not too strong a word.

Ponzi: The Government's Favorite Scheme

The "Ponzi Scheme" is getting much attention with the arrest of Bernard Madoff. His fraud (alleged) is going to total billions of dollars. However, while it is illegal for an individual to run a scheme such as this, it is apparently the government's favorite financial tool. When one looks at things closely, the Frederal government is really operating a number of giant Ponzi schemes.

Before getting into detail, I copied this from Wikipedia to define what the scheme is:

"A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to investors out of the money paid by subsequent investors rather than from profit. The term "Ponzi scheme" is used primarily in the United States, while other English-speaking countries do not distinguish colloquially between this scheme and other pyramid schemes.

The Ponzi scheme usually offers abnormally high short-term returns in order to entice new investors. The perpetuation of the high returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises and pays requires an ever-increasing flow of money from investors in order to keep the scheme going.

The system is destined to collapse because the earnings, if any, are less than the payments. Usually, the scheme is interrupted by legal authorities before it collapses because a Ponzi scheme is suspected or because the promoter is selling unregistered securities. As more investors become involved, the likelihood of the scheme coming to the attention of authorities increases."

I already wrote about the ruse that the Federal government call Social Security. This is nothing more than a glorified Ponzi scheme. (Read it here)

There seems to be a new system that is going to be structured in the same way. It is the proposed Universal Healthcare System. This is something that you all have heard about. The Federal Government is going to provide insurance for everyone who is not presently covered. This sounds wonderful until one asks "where is all the money going to come from?". The simple fact is that there will not be enough money coming in to cover the expenses that are going to need paying out. Of course, initially, the funds will be available. However, over the decades, we will see the deficit grow to cover this. This is no different than Social Security.

If we want to take this one step further, we can expand this to mean the entire Federal Government is nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme. The existence of this entire institution is based upon money taken in today. However, the services are paid out immediately with no future certainty that those services will be offered to those stuck with the future payments. This seems very similar to what MAdoff did.

Simply put, we are receiving the payouts today based upon the continual investment by others. Sooner or later, when the incoming money doesnt cover the expenditures, the system collapses. That is the present fate of the American government. This is an entity which will implode because of the excessive spending. Our children will not be able to pay enough to cover all the payouts presently promised by the existing leadership in this country. Hopefully, the American people will wake up to this ruse before it is too late.

Bernard Madoff is going to jail. However, he is not the only one who belongs there. Each of the individual Congress people, President, and anyone else who is involved with this illegal system of government should be there with him. They are willing participants in one of the greatest crimes mankind ever witnessed.

Seems Management Isnt The Only Ones With Perks

Now, the truth is coming out. We were led to believe that the management at the automakers were wasting company money on perks that were senseless. At the same time, Ron Gettlefinger pleaded with Congress for money to save jobs and the workers. His concern is for the people.

It now appears the UAW had their own perks. Read story here.

The Union has their own golf course. Of course, they are defending it as an investment which is used to train members and hold seminars. Unfortunately, it is losing millions of dollars each year. I guess golf courses aren't the money makers they use to be.

Once again, we were misled by those in power. Everyone knows that the management of the Big Three totally missed the direction of the marketplace. Nevertheless, the Union head proves himself to be a snake in the grass also. The impression that the Union is only concerned about getting as much as they can is now reaffirmed. And I won't even mention the "end around" that Bush pulled in bailing these idiots out. They are all culpable in this.

This is just another example of the corruption that those in power are fulled with. This takes us one step closer to the needing a massive uprising.

By The People and For The People

What a crock of you know what!!! Have you noticed what is going on with all the vacant Senate seats. Of course, the scandal surrounding Obama's seat is well publicized. However, there are antics among the others also. Jos Biden's seat was taken by a handpicked crony to hold until Biden's son returns from Iraq and is old enought to take the seat. And, we now are seeing that Caroline Kennedy is going to get Hillary's seat in New York.

None of these people were elected. Obviously, there are procedures in place when a Senate seat is opened. However, the games being played show how the powerful are free to manipulate these situations without answering to the American people. Of course, the media seems to be involved in the entire ordeal too.

So how do we change it? As you know, we here are for radical overhaul of the entire governmental system. All who are in power these days quickly become corrupt. It is a "rich man's" club run entirely amok. Now, since they are intent on following a failed policies like the FDR programs or the European model of government, we need to stand up and say enough. The Founding Fathers wrote "by the people and for the people". This is completely lost today. Those in power feel they are entitled to do what they do. This entitlement mentality leads to blatant corruption across the board.

In the 1770s, the fearless leaders decided that it was time to shop for a new form of government. Well, I believe we are fast approaching that time again. Our system is completely broke and those who we entrust to fix it only abuse it more. It is time for everyone to stand up and say "enough".
