Death Threats

I thought the government was designed to protect the people. Well, welcome to life in this era. This is another part of the original thoughts that went by the wayside. Now, the government, specifically Congress, are putting people in harm's way. It is sad when private citizens are placed at peril by the Feds.

I am obviously referring to the AIG debacle. This story gets crazier by the day. We come to find out that many of those who received bonuses got death threats. To me, this is absurd. It will be interesting to see if the government atones for their screwups by prosecuting these people.

First, it is crucial to realize that those who received the bonuses are law abiding citizens. They had signed contracts which stipulated payments for their services rendered. They were the ones who were looked to in an effort to try to salvage what they could of AIG.

Secondly, they were not the people who caused the collapse. The ones responsible for that mess left over a year ago. People are taking it out on the wrong people.

Then Congress comes up with the idea to tax these people at 90% in an effort to get the money back. This is the equivalent to modern day piracy. All these members of Congress who signed on to this ridiculous idea ought to be tried and convicted. Their actions are outrageous.

Of course, Congress claims they wanted to get the money back for the taxpayers, like it is their money. What a farce. The politicians put people lives at risk for political gain. And have you heard even one apology. Nancy Pelosi ought to call each AIG bonus recipient and personally ask their forgiveness for being such a stupid ass. So should Chuck Shumer. Barney Frank. And the ever corrupt Chris Dodd. These people should be ashamed of their behavior.

Congress is showing how much they can screw things up when the government is involved. There is nothing they touch which they cannot turn into total crap. Lovers of big government show how truly ignorant they really are. Government excels at corruption and inefficiency. This is what they do best.

When private citizens are receiving death as a result of the actions of people in Congress, something needs to be done. Bet the ranch the FBI would be investing if one of the members of Congress received a death threat. Of course, to demand equal justice is absurd. The powerful only protect themselves.

Maybe people will wake up to the fact that these people in Washington need to be thrown out of office. The revolution is nearing.

The Hoopla over AIG

These days, we do not have to look too far to see hypocrisy. It is plastered all over the news. Each time we see a member of Congress open his or her mouth, it is being thrust upon us like a dagger. I am witnessing a lot of "do as I say while ignoring what I do".

Everyone seems outraged over the bonuses that AIG paid after receiving billions from the government. Now, the politicians are grandstanding about how taxpayer money is being wasted. Hello. Didn't we just have Congress pass and the President sign a bill which had over 8,000 pieces of pork in it? These people are as hypocritical as they come.

The fact is that AIG is contractually obligated to pay these people. That is a fundamental tenet of the private sector; the contract. When two parties agree to something in writing, that is known as a legally binding document. Now, the Feds, in their infinite wisdom want to take the money back. Once again, the corrupt are exercising their abuse of power.

We have Barney Frank blowing (pun intended) hot air about all the money going to these corrupt executives. How about we look into Frank blocking reforms into Freddie and Frannie long before they went broke? Then we have Christopher Dodd double talking out his mouth. Of course, he is the one who gets favorable rates without his knowledge. Yeah, right. And lets us not forget Timothy Geitner, the man who couldnt figure out his own taxes. Now, he is up in arms over AIG's behavior.

This is what happens when government gets involved; everything gets screwed up. The fact that 535 politicians who seem to major in stupidity, corruption, and lying are meddling tells us how dire the situation has become. Government is an entity that will fail each time. Presently, we are moving in the direction where we need to overthrow it. Those who are in power are out of control. The time is nearing.

The Blame Game

This is a long time part of American politics (politics in general). It is interesting to note that the world is facing the largest economic crisis in a couple of generations yet nobody is responsible. Instead, they are all blaming someone else for what occurred.

Let's review. George Bush was President with Dick Cheney serving as his VP. There was Alan Greenspan as head of the Fed before being replaced by Ben Bernanke. Christopher Dodd is the head of the Senate Finance committee. And Barney Frank was the one responsible for overseeing Frannie and Freddie. Finally, Barack Obama was elected on Nov. 4th, taking office on Jan 20th.

What is amazing is none of these people is responsible. Here is an article in which Dick Cheney says that the blame doesn't lie with the Bush Administration. He believes that since it is a worldwide recession that someone else is responsible.

Let us be clear: government played a large part in this crisis. Interests rates were sent to an all-time low to avert the recession after 9/11. This, along with the approved easing of lending requirements, caused the housing bubble. Frannie and Freddie were pressuring banks to buy the paper while entering a state of total collapse. Of course, we cannot forget that Congress passed the CRA in the 1990s which established the subprime market. Finally, the regulatory agencies were completely out to lunch the past 10-12 years. This allowed the devious to operate unabated.

Yet, we hear how "it is not our fault". All these politicians should be in jail. They are corrupt as well as inept. If you cannot imprison them, then perhaps we need capital punishment. There has to be some accountability to the American people. How about if our elected officials actually had something to lose. Do you think they would behave differently if their corruption resulted in execution? I think it would have some impact.

The bottom line is that we cannot trust these incompetent boobs for anything. Half of them are not qualified to work as meter maids let alone occupying the powerful positions they do. It is time they all were removed.

The Government Is The Problem

Yesterday I wrote how it was the decisions of FDR that prolonged the Great Depression. Before his idea of "stimulus" we suffered through two severe, but short, recessions. These two periods were survived without the government interfering.

Now, we see the passing of the biggest government spending bill in history. Today, the Congress shaved $100 billion off (like we are impressed) to have a spectacular $700+ billion bill. This is totally ridiculous.

We are in a economic situation that was caused by the government. Every aspect of this "crisis" sees the government's hand in it. The bank lending crisis was started by Congress mandating that banks loan to unqualified lower income people. This started the entire subprime bubble which burst a couple of years ago.

Freddie and Fannie are quasi-government entities. Over the past few years, banks were pressured into "investing" in these organizations which caused them to be left with huge losses on their books. At the same time, the Fed, Treasury, and SEC operated with no oversight. Basically, they were asleep at the wheel.

Now, we are to believe these same people can get us out of this. Barney Frank is still in Congress. The same is true for Christopher Dodd in the Senate. Barack Obama was a Senator while all this went down. So was John McCain. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid still occupy the same offices they did over the past few years. As you can see, most of the players are still the same.

The government is solving this existing "crisis" by creating another one. There is a thing called inflation which is created when the government incurs massive deficits. Another interesting twist is that the larger the deficits, the worse the inflation. Jimmy Carter experienced this during his administration. Presently, we are seeing $1 trillion worth of deficits authorized by Congress. That means we are going to feel the effects of hyperinflation over the next few years. Prices will rise so quickly when the economy turns that it will make people's head spin.

Who will the government (and the media) blame then? I am sure they will find someone. The truth is they will never own up to the fact that they created the entire situation. Government is not the solution, it is the problem. Unfortunately, we have a President who believes that government is the answer. To me, this says that we will have big problems in the future.

Where is Barney Frank Now?

Barney Frank was the self-appointed member of Congress in charge of avoiding deficits. At least that was the appearance when a Republican was in the White House. Now, with his party in control of everything and in the process of setting record deficits, he is as quite as a church mouse. I wonder if this were the case if McCain had won the election. Somehow I highly doubt it.

Obama and his fellow political thieves (called Congress) are going to run trillion dollar deficits. It is bad enough that this will happen in the first year. Nevertheless, Obama is already paving the way for us to get accustomed to many years of them. Here is an article that describes the President-elects view.

This is ridiculous. The government was the creator of this mess. Name any aspect of it and you will find the government somewhere closely tied to it. Subprime mortgages. It was Congress that started that elephant with the idea that everyone should own a home thus legislating that banks lend to unworthy applicants. The housing boom and eventual bust. Again, the government failed to oversee the practices of the banks and other lending institutions. How about the failure to navigate the economy at a pace that would not create a collapse. Opps. The government again; this time in the form of Alan Greenspan and his mismodeling of the economy.

Shall I continue. Fannie and Freddie? Barney Frank sleeping with the head of that company while it was going bust. The automobile industry? Congress imposed tougher fuel standards for a non-existent global warming problem which created cars nobody wanted. Fraud on Wall Street? Chris Cox and the SEC were asleep at the wheel.

And now we are suppose to believe that the government is going to solve these problems? Somehow I doubt that also. We have a better chance of Barney Frank being quite with a Republican spending money. The leaders in Washington are completely corrupt in addition to being incompetant. Just take the situation with Obama's seat. Harry Reid believes it is the Senate who decides who gets in. He ought to be shot in the right knee for thinking such a thing. What the hell is this, Imperail Russia? A person who was elected/nominated in accordance to his/her states' requirements is qualified to serve. It is the individual state who decides it representation, not Harry Reid.

Once again, those in power prove themselves to be incompetant boobs. Hell, this group of misfits cannot even get their members together without screwing up. And we are suppose to trust them to fix the economy. Yeah right.

The revolution is dedicated to moving us closer to a time when power will be restored to the people. I believe we are moving quickly in that direction. The present United States government is going to implode in the future. Of course, isn't that how every great civilization was taken down? We are just repeating history. I for one cannot wait until the day that the proverbial "crap hits the fan".

This is how ridiculous it has gotten

A woman in Pensacola is claiming that she was fired for saying "Merry Christmas" when she greeted callers. Naturally, the company is denying the accusation. Nevertheless, legal action is following. (Here is the story).

Now, I will start by saying I have no idea why this woman was terminated. Her guilt or innocence in this particular instance is not the issue. The idea that something like this does occur shows the mindset we have as a culture. Also, later in the article, that dogpuke of an attorney tells of how "the smartest choice might be ignoring the season". He ought to be kicked in the head for that statement.

Here is the 411. Most of the American population is made up of people with Christian backgrounds. By now most of you know that I am not a religious zealot. Other than a wedding or funeral, I cannot think of the last time I was in a church. Nevertheless, I do understand that many people choose to practice their faith in that manner. And, Christmas is the highlight of their religious devotion.

I do not know why we have allowed the blatant attacks on Christianity. It seems that being offensive to Muslims is the least of our worries. Besides, they make up then less than 5% of our population. Thus, if they do not like it, tough. Isn't that what democracy is about? If the majority want it a certain way, that is what rules. Since the majority are made up of Christians, then they have a right to express their beliefs as they see fit.

Besides, what about Christmas offends the other religions? Is there a massive "offending" of individuals or is this a weapon used by the media and secularists to further their agenda. Perhaps the Muslims and Jews could care less when in reality it is the atheists who are offended. Well, tough crap. Get over it.

Who says we need to contour our actions when other people are offended? Right now, I am offended that we have corrupt politicians running our country. Nancy Pelosi offends me. So does George Bush. Dick Chaney too. Let us not forget Barack Obama. And, of course, Barney Frank. They are all liars, cheats, and greedy for power. I think they all need to be exiled to Elba along with the rest of Congress and half the Supreme Court. They are offensive to me. Yet nobody seems to want to help me with this dilemma.

Personally, I say the hell with saying "Happy Holidays". The tradition in America is to say "Merry Christmas" and that is what I say. Again, you will not see me in church celebrating the birth of Christ but I do respect those that do. Of course, if those people want to shove their beliefs down my throat, I am perfectly happy to take their Bible and beat them over the head with it. I respect others choice of faith while expecting them to respect mine.

What this all boils down to is the political argument over the separation of church and state. Of course, this is another one of those nifty lines created by those who want to get God out of all aspects of the government. Once again, these people took the thoughts of the Founding Fathers and turned them all around. The idea was that the government does not have the right to mandate any national religion or restrict the choice of any individual. This was one of their complaints against England many centuries ago. Nevertheless, they did not feel that we were to establish a government devoid of any Deity. It is obvious the individuals who founded this country were deeply religious individuals.

Where does this all leave us? For this woman in Pensacola, she will be in court. If she did suffer an ill-fated termination because of her beliefs, I hope they bankrupt the company. However, if she is filing another frivalous lawsuit, I pray the judge throws her in jail for a month to let her think about her lies. As for the rest of the country, this is another barbaric attack by a few on the wants of the majority. This is no different then that sleazy maneuver Bush pulled with the Auto companies. The wishes of a few overrode the desires of the majority. It is sounding a lot like 1776.

$1 Trillion Dollars

Say that number and let it sink in. One Trillion Dollars. That is a lot of freaking money. It is also the low end estimates of how much the terrorists in Congress and Obama are going to spend over the next two years to TRY and kickstart the economy. Are we stupid or what? Do we think these morons have any clue how to revive this situation?

The cornerstone is a massive public works project that will put people to work. Our new administration is going to take a page out of the FDR playbook during the Great Depression. Sadly, it is the part of the playbook that did not work. For all the insane project FDR put into effect, it was the entering of World War II that got us out of the Great Depression. Nothing else.


So, our impeccable leaders in the White House and Congress are going to spend $1 trillion (which in government terms means 3 or 4) to revive the economy. The deficit is going to reach record levels with the backing of those in Congress. I find that interesting since Barney Frank told us for 8 years how bad they were. Now, he is a fan of them. I wish someone would kick that fat ass in the teeth to shut him up for a while.

The American Revolution was fought over the unfair tax policies of the British. It seems to me we have a remake of the same situation. The tax and spend mentality of the government needs to be stopped. Either they can do it willingly or there will be a massive uprising. Do not forget, at some point the government will need to raise the money. The only way they know how is to tax. They will tell us they are going after the rich when in reality, it is always the "little guy" who gets stuck with the bill. If you dispute this, read a history book.

Spending money is always the government's answer to every problem. With $1 trillion, you ought to be able to fix a lot of things. However, it is important to remember that thus far, the Feds spent over $1.5 in title 1 money for education. That seems to work well considering we have a bunch of idiots getting out of school these days. $1.5 trillion and our kids cannot read. That is the government in action.

Someday people will realize that the government is not the answer to any of their problems. The government has a perfect record screwing everything up. Get them invovled and it is all downhill. Social security-broke. School lunch programs-a disaster. Education-abysmal. Bank and automaker ownership-TBD.

Perhaps it is time to shut off the video games or reruns of Seinfeld and read a history book. This scenario played out 200+ years ago. Am I the only one who sees the similarities?

Congress Bears No Personal Responsibility

Our government let us down. We live in a world where our leaders bear no responsibility for what occurs. The name of the game is "blame". Regardless of who is in power, there is always someone else at fault. This is how our pathetic excuses for leaders are. They delude themselves by their own false virtues.

This was exemplified by our present Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. She was asked if Congress bore any responsibility for the recent financial crisis that is plaguing the United States (and the world). Her response was that they had no part in it. Are you freaking kidding me. The damn Speaker of the House is claiming that the United States Congress is innocent of all that occurred to create the largest financial crisis since the Great Depression. This is asinine. Here is a woman who needs a good dose of reality.

Another is that pathetic excuse for a leader Barney Frank. He is a very powerful man on Capitol Hill. His job was the oversight of Frannie Mae and Freddie Mac. For those who are unaware, the taxpayers had to bail these organizations out to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. Of course, Congress bears no responsibility for this collapse either. To believe that, we need to overlook the fact that Frank had a long-term affair with the head of one of these institutions. Is it any wonder why he resisted any attempts to reform these colossal failures?

America ought to be raiding Washington with rakes and pitchforks. It is time to wake up. If our leaders cannot show personal responsibility for their actions they need to be tossed out of office. The above examples happen to be Congressional Democrats. The same behavior is witnessed by members of the Bush Administration and Wall Street executives. These people are pathetic excuses for representatives. We need to do whatever we can to hold them to the fire.
